We keep this narrow. We don't run user accounts or checkouts on this site, so we don't collect financial or transaction data. What we collect falls into these categories:
We do not collect any special category data (health, religion, political views, and similar), and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Most of the data above is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you browse this site, via our analytics provider, PostHog. The exception is the contact form: if you choose to fill it in and submit it, we collect exactly what you typed, directly from you, at that moment. We do not purchase or receive data about you from any other third party.

We don't rely on "performance of a contract" as a basis, since visiting this site, or sending us a message through it, doesn't on its own involve a contract between you and us.
We use analytics data to understand how our materials are read, which parts of the site people engage with, and whether specific people we've reached out to have viewed what we sent them. We use anything you submit through the contact form for exactly what it looks like, to read your message and reply to you. We don't use either to build advertising profiles, and we don't use them to make any automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
This site uses cookies and browser storage set by our analytics provider, PostHog, to recognize repeat visits and group activity into a session. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how we understand your visit, but will not affect your ability to read this site.
We use three processors to run this site, its analytics, and its contact form, and we don't share your data with anyone beyond them:
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We would only disclose data beyond these processors if required by law, such as in response to a valid court order or legal process.
Our analytics processor is based in the European Union. Our contact form processor, Formspree, is based in the United States. Where any data is transferred outside your home country, our processors maintain appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it in transit and at rest.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data we hold, including relying on infrastructure providers who maintain their own security and encryption standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit what we collect and who can access it accordingly.
We retain analytics data for as long as it serves our legitimate interest in understanding engagement with this site, and no longer. We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period after, in case of follow-up. In both cases, we periodically review and remove data we no longer need.
This site may link out to other websites. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of sites we don't operate, and we'd encourage you to review their policies separately.
You can ask us what data we hold about your visits, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we're using it. Since this site doesn't have accounts or logins, we can't necessarily tell who a given visit belongs to on our own, so acting on a request depends on what you can tell us to help identify it: for example, the approximate date and time of your visit, the link or campaign you followed, or any identifier that link may have carried.
